The Little Light Collective will host the 2023 Shine on Festival & Flea on Sunday, Sept. 3, from noon until 6 p.m.
Taking place at 3041 Indianola Ave. and surrounding businesses, the event will feature food trucks, a Seventh Son beer garden and local music.
The third annual Shine on Festival & Flea will feature 50-plus vendors showcasing vintage housewares and clothes, art, handmade jewelry, flowers, plants and more.
“For the past two years our Fest & Flea has been about celebrating not only our store’s anniversary, but our amazing vendors, friends, and fellow local businesses,” said April Rhodes, founder and owner of the Shine on Festival & Flea and The Little Light Collective.
“We couldn’t think of a better way to thank our community for their love and support than partying, shopping, drinking, eating and dancing together – all while sharing in a little nostalgia.”
The Shine on Festival & Flea is free to attend.
Opened in August 2020, The Little Light Collective is a vintage co-op.
Originally hosting 25 in-house vendors, it now sells goods from more than 45 local vendors.
“Created to shine light on South Clintonville, as well as the joy and talent our neighborhood embodies, our aim is to showcase all of the creative risk-takers that make Columbus great,” said Rhodes.
“This annual Fest & Flea – as well as our small business – aims to uplift, reroot and get down with our beloved community.”
